Finding The Best Weight Loss Pills
Are there really any so-called best weight loss pills?
The subject merits debate because there are many websites, companies and individuals who claim that weight loss pills (particularly the ones they are endorsing) are THE best weight loss pills out there.
Our Research conducted through many respected medical authorities tell us that....
At the top of the list there is a product known as bitter orange which is supposed to lessen your appetite for eating. It has been proven to create health problems like those attributed to ephedra (even if the bitter orange supplement is meant to act as an ephedra substitute.) Its long term effects have yet to be studied.
Next is chitosan, which is supposed to act by stopping your body from absorbing dietary fat. What it actually does is trigger gastrointestinal problems such as bloating and constipation. The long term effects of chitosan use are unknown. What is certain is that it will probably not make you lose weight.
Chromium is supposed to lessen bodyfat while helping you pack on muscle. Though promoted for weight loss purposes, it is unlikely that you can lose weight using chromium.
CLA or Conjugated Linoleic Acid is touted to be useful for lessening body fat, reducing your appetite, while also acting as a muscle-building aid. Our research says your total body weight may stay around the same level anyway, even if CLA managed to create more muscle for you and cut down bodyfat levels. Gastrointestinal problems are known to result from this weight loss pill.
Heartleaf (also called country mallow) is promoted to be a weight loss supplement that can cut down on your appetite level while promoting heightened calorie burning in your body. This is a dangerous weight loss drug to take because it has ephedra and should probably be avoided altogether.
The famous ephedra itself is said by fans to lessen your appetite, but has been proven to cause many significant health problems. Even though it is legal to buy ephedra as a tea, it is dangerous to consume ephedra because it may trigger fluctuations in your heart rate, high blood pressure, insomnia, heart attacks, seizures, strokes and perhaps death in some cases. It is puzzling why ephedra products are still readily available on the Internet despite warnings about it.
You have probably heard a lot of good things about green tea extract, but in many cases the public is cautioned against consuming green tea extract due to the lack of data to support claims about it. In addition, green tea extract has been known to produce diarrhea, indigestion, bloating, and even vomiting in people who drink it. Green tea extract admittedly has quite a hefty volume of caffeine in it too.
Guar gum is supposed to make you feel full, while halting your body from absorbing dietary fat. The end effect, according to claims by proponents, is that you consume less calories. We says you will probably not lose weight taking guar gum. Instead, you may find yourself undergoing gastrointestinal problems like flatulence and diarrhea instead.
Last on this short list is hoodia which is meant to cut down your appetite if you take it, but there is no conclusive proof to back up that claim.
So are there any weight loss pills that can really work?
There is only one product that we believe in which has been sanctioned by the Food and Drug Administration and that is the nonprescription version of Alli (whose prescription version is called orlistat.) Alli functions by limiting the amount of fat your intestines can absorb, so you do lose weight.
However, Alli consumption is supposed to be accompanied by a regular exercise program, and a low-fat, reduced-calorie diet, for it to function appropriately.
